FLORIDA LIABILITY WAIVER, RELEASE & AGREEMENT

READ CAREFULLY — THIS WAIVES IMPORTANT LEGAL RIGHTS

By registering for The Safety Harbor Slam Fishing Tournament (“Tournament”), operated by The Rogers Team LLC (“Released Parties”), I agree as follows:

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK.
Fishing tournaments involve inherent dangers including boating accidents, drowning, weather conditions, heat exposure, wildlife encounters, equipment injuries, mechanical failure, and the actions or negligence of others. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, whether known or unknown.

2. PUBLIC WATERS / NO CONTROL.
The Tournament occurs on public waters. The Released Parties do not control how or where participants fish or operate boats. I am solely responsible for my safety, vessel operation, equipment, and compliance with all laws.

3. RELEASE OF LIABILITY (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE).
To the fullest extent permitted under Florida law, I release and forever discharge the Released Parties from all claims, including claims arising from their negligence, related to personal injury, death, or property damage.

4. INDEMNIFICATION.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims or expenses arising from my actions, omissions, or violations of law or Tournament rules.

5. BOAT CAPTAIN / TEAM RESPONSIBILITY.
If operating a vessel, I certify I am legally qualified. The boat captain is solely responsible for safe operation and all passengers. Each participant competes at their own risk.

6. MEDICAL RESPONSIBILITY.
I certify I am physically capable and assume responsibility for all medical expenses.

7. PHOTO / MEDIA RELEASE.
I grant permission for use of my image or likeness in Tournament media without compensation.

8. JURY TRIAL WAIVER.
I knowingly waive any right to a trial by jury in any action related to the Tournament.

9. MINOR PARTICIPANTS.
If the participant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian consents, assumes all risks, and releases and indemnifies the Released Parties on behalf of the minor.

10. GOVERNING LAW / VENUE.
This Agreement is governed by Florida law with venue in Pinellas County, Florida.

By proceeding, I acknowledge that I have read and understand this Agreement and am waiving substantial legal rights.
